Marisa Warrington

Marisa Michelle Warrington (born 1973 in Enfield, England) is an Australian actress who played Sindi Watts on the Australian soap opera Neighbours.
Warrington moved to Australia when she was three, with her English father (actor Neale Warrington) and Australian mother. From the age of five trained in ballet for 13 years at the Australian Ballet School, where her schedule also included training as a gymnast. She left ballet to train fully in both classical and modern singing. Warrington trained as an actor in the UK with The Royal Shakespeare Company, returning to Australia with The Australian Shakespeare Company and lately The Melbourne Theatre Company, and then further study at the National Institute of Dramatic Art.
Her stage performances brought her to television, initially via adverts for Moccona coffee and Tennis Australia, before appearing in police drama "Blue Heelers." She then performed as Columbia in the successful performance of "The Rocky Horror Show" at The Regent Theatre in November 2004.
Her character Sindi made her debut on a recurring basis in 2002, before returning in 2003. Sindi became a regular character in 2004, living with Susan Kennedy and dating Toadfish Rebecchi and then Stuart Parker. She was involved in a range of storylines, including stripping and later on, prostitution, when she needed to pay for an operation to restore her boyfriend Stuart Parker's sight. In 2005 she left the show when her character was committed to a psychiatric hospital because of violent tendencies. Her final scenes were screened in Australia in August of that year.
Warrington formed the band Lucy De Ville with fellow Neighbours actress Marcella Russo and colleague Shaun Gardener.
Warrington is left-handed and currently lives in Melbourne.
