Marisa Ryan (born November 20, 1974 in New York City, New York) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Elizabeth Cooper McGillis in the sitcom television series Major Dad, she also co-starred as Det. Nell Delaney in the police drama television series New York Undercover, during the show's fourth and last season.
Her other television credits include Boy Meets World, Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Sex and the City, The Practice and The Pretender.
She has also appeared in numerous films like Brooklyn Lobster, Riding in Cars with Boys, Wet Hot American Summer. She also made her directorial debut with the independent film Three Women of Pain which she also co-wrote.
Ryan was married to actor Jeremy Sisto but they were divorced in 2002, after nine years of marriage. That same year, she played Leslie Mayhugh in The Pennsylvania Miners' Story.
