Mario Antonio Salgado Jiménez (born 3 June 1981 in Talcahuano) is a Chilean football striker. he plays for U.S. Avellino.

Salgado started his career at Huachipato. In summer 2001 he joined Brescia Calcio, and made his Serie A debut for in 1-1 draw with U.S. Lecce on 16 September 2001. After just 10 Serie A games, the following seasons he was on loan to various club before returned in summer 2005. He played the 1st half of Serie B season, before move on loan to AlbinoLeffe in January 2006.
In summer 2006, he was signed by U.S. Foggia of Serie C1.
In summer 2007, he joined Serie B newcomer U.S. Avellino in joint-ownership bid.
He capped for U-20 side in 2001 FIFA World Youth Championship.
