MarinaBlue, also known as Marina Blue, is a skyscraper in Miami, Florida. Built by Hyperion Development, the developers of another building named Blue on the Bay further uptown, the building finished construction in May 2007.[1] Marinablue is located in northeastern downtown across the street from the American Airlines Arena. The building rises 615 feet (187 m), and contains 57 floors. Marinablue is almost all-residential, with some retail and office space on the lower floors. It makes up part of the Biscayne Wall, a series of newly built skyscrapers (and some that are still under construction) along the western side of Biscayne Boulevard north of the Central Business District. The building was opened to residential occupancy since the spring of 2008. The building currently stands as the 4th-tallest in Miami and the 5th-tallest in Florida, as well the 2nd-tallest residential building in the city and the state. Marinablue is part of the north portion of the Biscayne Wall, a cluster of skyscrapers being constructed in Downtown Miami. The tower was one of the first buildings making up the wall to be completed.[1]
