A graduate of the famed Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Marina was cast as the dance soloist of a major theatrical event called Mark Twain: The Musical, a long-running summertime pageant in Elmira, New York and later Hartford, Connecticut. She was joined by twenty other Russian dancers and singers in what was the first occasion that Russian performers became integrated members of an American cast rather than simply appearing as a touring national troupe. This was a remarkable event during Cold War years, and then Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev saluted the collaboration in a television address.

During this period, Marina Perry appeared with other American ballet companies and mastered the art of adagio dancing, specializing in the spectacular lifts that are often associated with Russian virtuosos. She and her partner became national champions of the Star Search television series hosted by Ed McMahon, which in turn led to her becoming the first Russian ballerina ever to headline a show in Las Vegas, the famous Splash! revue at the Riviera Hotel.

Meanwhile, Marina became an American citizen, obtained an MBA degree, and when she retired from dancing joined Credit Suisse First Boston as a computer programmer. Combining her natural artistry with a broad range of technical computer skills, she soon attracted interest from companies who wanted her to design their websites, and she was able to set up an independent design business that has gained international recognition.

After designing the website for the Iredale Mineral Cosmetics company, Marina was encouraged to look further into the beauty industry, and in the year 2000, together with her husband, William, she founded Right Face Ltd., manufacturers and distributors of the Rosacea Care line of skin care products. She now administers their offices throughout the world, including one in Moscow not far from the Bolshoi Theatre.
