Marina Arismendi

Ana Marina Arismendi Dubinsky (born 30 May 1949, Montevideo) is an Uruguayan senator and current minister of social development in the government of President Tabaré Vázquez. She is also the secretary-general since 1998 of the Communist Party of Uruguay (PCU), a constituent of the ruling Frente Amplio.

Marina Arismendi is the daughter of Rodney Arismendi (1913–1989), a longtime PCU leader.
