Marilao is a 1st class urban municipality in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 101,017 people in 22,363 households. In 2007, Marilao and neighboring Meycauayan City were listed as 2 of the most polluted rivers in the world.[1]
