[edit] Academics

Mariemont offers a college preparatory curriculum with well over 90% of graduates each year going to an accredited college or university. Mariemont offers basic courses in such areas as Math, English, Science, Social Studies, and Foreign Languages (Latin, German, Spanish and French) as well as a wide array of elective classes. The Technology department is particularly good. Mariemont has a seven bell school day. Mariemont offers primarily college preparatory classes but also has advanced placement classes and foundations classes. Mariemont also offers tutors for special needs students. The Mariemont special education program was one of the most renowned in the city as recently as a few years ago, often drawing students from outside the district, but has gone down in quality since its funding has been reduced.

[edit] Freshmen Teachers

Kevin Ferry - Latin Teacher. His students loved him so much that they gave him an Xbox 360 on which he plays Lego Star Wars with his daughter, Olivia. On a side note, Olivia's teacher's dog Sophie, is sick, and the status of said dog is currently unkown to both Mr. Ferry and his students.

Mary Halsall - Biology Teacher. She is known for teaching Kareem Abdul Jabar in College. She also has an evil counterpart: Hattie.

Bruce Miller - The Computer Programming Teacher. Good guy. Dislikes Bill Gates.

Erik Vangas - World History I teacher. His son Noah is really smart.

Mrs. Lowery - A teacher who says she teaches english when in reality, she steals everything from sparknotes and/or Cliff Notes.

Mrs. Bell - A teacher whom no one really knows what she is teaching.

Andy Busch - Though his student teaching at MHS was brief, the impact of his awesomeness remains, and forever shall he remain in the spirit of MHS through his god likeness. Others - There are some other teachers but they don't matter.
