The Marie Sisters was an American country music act composed of sisters Chaz and Kessie Marie.[1] Both sisters had served as songwriters in Nashville, Tennessee before signing to Universal/Republic Records in 2002. That year, the duo released its self-titled debut album, which included the single "Real Bad Mood",[2] as well as a song co-written by R&B artist Brian McKnight.[1]
