Marie Curie Middle School 158 (MS 158 for short) is a middle school for science and technology located in Bayside, New York. Approximately 1,150 6th to 8th graders attend this school, which is named after Marie Curie, the renowned scientist and winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics and the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
This school continues the gifted program of the children from the 5th grade magnet from P.S. 188 Kingsbury School and P.S. 31 Bayside School. MS 158 has the Beacon and Task program, and many different after school programs as well.
The principal is Marie Nappi, who took the place of former principal, Mr. Charles DeMeo.
The graduation ceremony of eighth graders is traditionally held at St. Francis Preparatory School. The graduation ceremony last year was held at St. John's University.
