Maribor Town Hall

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Maribor Town Hall is the town hall of Maribor, Slovenia's second city. It is situated on the towns' Main Square (Glavni trg).

Built in 1515 in the Renaissance style, Adolf Hitler once made a speech on the balcony of the grand Town Hall that overlooks the square [1].

The hall currently houses the distinguished restaurant Toti Rotovz which caters in the Cuisine of Slovenia.

Outside the hall in the square is also the Plague Memorial, which commemorates the “black death” that once devastated the city.
