Marianne Shine

Marianne Shine (born in Englewood, New Jersey). Her credits include TV commercials, voice-overs, and multiple independent films such as The Lamp, The Dinner Party and her first feature film Beatific Vision (2008). Her favorite theater roles include Elvira in Blithe Spirit and Miriam in Postmortem both at Ross Valley Players, Nara in An Honest Arrangement at the San Francisco Theatre Festival, Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Helen of Troy in Trojan Barbie at The Exit Theatre. She co-wrote a book and website called Marin Playgrounds and is the co-founder of New Works West Theatre Company in San Francisco. Her first cousin is playwright Yasmina Reza.
