Marianna Longa

Marianna Longa (born August 26, 1979) is an Italian cross country skier who has been competing since 1997. She finished sixth in the 4 x 5 km relay and eighth in the 7.5 km + 7.5 km double pursuit at the 2007 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Sapporo.
Longa's best finish at the Winter Olympics was 20th in the 10 km event at Salt Lake City in 2002.
Her lone individual victory was in a 5 km event at a Continental Cup competition in Spain in 1999. Longa's best individual World Cup finish was fifth in a 10 km event in Estonia in 2007.
Retiring after the 2007 season, Longa returned to racing during the 2007-08 season and was named back to the Italian team.
