Marianna Csörnyei

Marianna Csörnyei (born in Budapest on October 8, 1975) is a Hungarian mathematician. She works in real analysis, geometric measure theory, and geometric nonlinear functional analysis. She proved the equivalence of the zero measure notions of infinite dimensional Banach spaces.

She graduated from Eötvös Loránd University in 1999 and is now a professor at the Mathematics Department of University College London. She won a 2002 Whitehead Prize and a Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award that same year.
