Mariana Ximenes do Prado Nuzzi, commonly known as Mariana Ximenes (born on April 26, 1981 in São Paulo, Brazil) is a Brazilian actress. In 2003, she was one of the lead characters in the TV Globo telenovela "Chocolate com Pimenta", where she portrayed "Ana Francisca". In 2005, she played the role of "Raíssa" in the TV Globo telenovela "América". In 2006, she was one of the lead actors in the TV Globo telenovela "Cobras & Lagartos", playing the role of "Bel".
Mariana Ximenes also appeared in several movies, like "O Homem do Ano" in 2003, "Uma Estrela Pra Ioiô" in 2004, and "Gaijin - Ama-me Como Sou", in 2005. She has also appeared in the miniseries "A Casa das Sete Mulheres" in 2003, where she played the role of "Rosario".
She is of Dutch descent on her father's side,[1] is fluent in German, and is married to producer Pedro Buarque de Hollanda.
