Mariana Fuentes

Mariana Fuentes is a Venezuelan screenwriter and film director.
She studied Film & Television at New York University and then concluded a Master degree in Screenwriting in Spain at the UIMP (Universidad Internacional Menendez Pelayo) with a scholarship from the MEDIA PROGRAMME.
The Venezuelan National Film Fund financed her most recent screenplay. She was selected in 2005 to participate in the Berlinale Talent Campus with the script Vodka Boy. Mariana was also a main guest at the Barquisimeto Film Festival where she spoke on the topic of Women who write for Men.
