[edit] Biography
She is the daughter of actor and director Ugo Tognazzi and actress Franca Bettoja. She has a brother, Gianmarco and two half-brothers, Riccardo Tognazzi (Ricky) and Thomas Robsahm, all of whom are actors.
Following years as an apprentice director, she made her directorial debut with the live action short film Non finisce qui in 1997. This was followed by two more short films, C'ero anch'io in 1999 and Sempre a tempo in 2000. Her first feature-length film was Past Perfect (Italian:Passato prossimo), for which she also co-wrote the screenplay with Daniele Prato. This resulted in the Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists to award her the Nastro d'Argento Best New Director for 2003.[1] She is currently writing the screenplay for her second feature film, L'uomo che ama with Ivan Cotroneo. It will feature a cast including Pierfrancesco Favino and Monica Bellucci, and is being filmed at Lake Orta and Turin.
