Maria Peszek (born September 9, 1973[1]) is a Polish actress, singer and songwriter.

She was born in Wrocław, Poland into a family of actors.[2] She debuted in a theatrical adaptation of Sanatorium Under the Sign of the Hourglass in 1995 at Juliusz Słowacki Theatre in Kraków.[2] She graduated from acting school in Kraków in 1996.[2] Since her appearance in Dom Juan in 1996 she became associated with Studio Theatre in Warsaw.[2]

Since 2004 she has been singing and songwriting in the band Elektrolot.[1] She released her solo debut album, Miasto Mania, in October 2005.[1] It was certified platinum[3] and earned her the Fryderyk award for best debut on March 30, 2006.[1] In November 2006 she released her second album, Mania Siku.[4]
