Maria Kochetkova (b. 1984 in Moscow), is a principal dancer with the San Francisco Ballet. She is a Laureate of the 9th International Competition of ballet artists and choreographers in Moscow (2002), Winner of the Young Artists Competition "Prix de Lausanne" (2002), silver medal in Varna, golden medals holder for Luxembourg, Rome, Seoul and Rieti. She has worked with both the Royal Ballet and English National Ballet in London.
Her repertoire includes leading roles in the ballets "Swan Lake", "Cinderella", "Giselle", "The Sleeping Beauty", "The Nutcracker"[1] and "Don Quixote".[2]
