[edit] Trivia

Consider as "Mary Pickford of Takarazuka", she caught people's attention during her first years in Star Troupe and three years after her debut, in 1994, became musumeyaku top star of Snow Troupe. With five different top star partners, Maki Ichiro (Snow), Fubuki Takane (Snow), Yū Todoroki (Snow), Asato Shizuki (Cosmos) and Yōka Wao (Cosmos) over twelve years, she had the longest run as musumeyaku top star in the company's history. Among these partners, she had the longest time with Wao.

Also, when she participated in the 1994 new actor production of Gone with the Wind (in the perspective of Scarlett O'Hara), she became the only musumeyaku to have her own top bill during her new actor era (since the top bill mostly goes to otokoyaku).

Along with Tsukikage Hitomi (Star and Snow) and Dan Rei (Moon and Star), she was one of the few musumeyaku to become top star of two troupes.

She was a founding member of Cosmos Troupe with Asato Shizuki, Yōka Wao, Wataru Kozuki and Hikaru Asami back in 1998 with an overseas performance in Hong Kong.

While participating the new actor performance of Snow Production of Gone with the Wind in 1994, she is the only musumeyaku that had been in the top bill for a new actor performance. (Since the top bill usually belongs to otokoyaku, it is a rare case)

In January 2007, she performed on stage along with Yōka Wao in Wao's concert.

Currently, she works as official representative for Yōka Wao in Wao's private company, Wao Enterprise, which they had founded in February 2007. It is rare that top star partners that had left the company can work together in such close relationship. She also may participate Wao's concerts.

[edit] Interesting facts about Elisabeth

She was the first star to perform as Elisabeth of Bavaria in the musical Elisabeth and the only one to do so twice: one for 1996 Snow production and the other for 1998 Cosmos production. This means she was the only Elisabeth to be obsessed by two Deaths (Maki Ichiro and Asato Shizuki), married to two Franz Joseph (Fubuki Takane and Yōka Wao), assassinated by two Luigi Lucheni (Yū Todoroki and Wataru Kozuki). But she crowned four Prince Rudolf (Tatsuki Kōju, Yōka Wao, Hikaru Asami and Sakiho Juri) because Kōju and Asami changed troupes before the Tokyo performance, and they were substituted by Wao and Juri.

Neither Franz Joseph that Hanafusa played Elisabeth against was from Senka, and most of the Franz Joseph, Rudolf and Luigi became top stars later on, except Juri, who was moved to Senka.

  • Fubuki Takane (Franz Joseph [Snow])-->Snow Troupe
  • Yū Todoroki (Luigi Lucheni [Snow])-->Snow Troupe
  • Tatsuki Kōju (Rudolf [Snow])-->Star Troupe
  • Yōka Wao (Rudolf [Snow] and Franz Joseph [Cosmos])-->Cosmos Troupe
  • Wataru Kozuki (Luigi Lucheni [Cosmos])-->Star Troupe
  • Hikaru Asami (Rudolf [Cosmos])-->Snow Troupe
