Marguerite Nichols

Marguerite Nichols (3 August 1895, Los Angeles - 17 March 1941, Los Angeles) was an early American silent film actress.

She starred in 21 films between 1915 and 1918.

Hal Roach, to whom Nichols was married until her death in 1941. Despite being three years older, he lived another 51 years until his death in 1992 aged 100.

Nichols starred with actresses such as Charlotte Burton in films such as The Strength of Donald McKenzie and The Torch Bearer working with director and actor Jack Prescott.

She was married to comedy film producer Hal Roach. They had two children, Hal Jr. and Margaret.

She died of pneumonia in 1941 only aged 45.
