Margie Hyams

Margie Hyams, (b. 1923), a noted vibraphonist, recorded with Woody Herman and Flip Phillips in the mid 1940s. She led the trio from 1945 to 1948. She also recorded with Charlie Ventura, and Mary Lou Williams. Margie joined George Shearing in 1949, and retired from music in 1950.
