Margherita Taylor

Margherita Taylor (born April 26, 1972 in Islington, London, England) is a British DJ and television presenter.
She found fame in 1993 when Birmingham based radio station BRMB offered her a slot as a DJ as part of a talent contest. She presented a weekend overnight show, but soon came to the attention of bosses at Capital FM, BRMB's sister station in London, and by the end of 1994 was working for Capital. She hosted weekend breakfast on the station, and provided cover for Capital's other presenters during the week. She is currently the longest serving member of the on-air team,
In 1998, she became the original presenter of the Channel 4 morning show, T4, alongside Dermot O'Leary. She left in 2001. Since then, she has continued work as a radio presenter at Capital Radio, as well as being a music reporter for GMTV. She also does a lot of voice over work for British companies television advertisements, and also presents an evening show on theJazz; a radio station available on satellite, DAB and online.
She can currently be heard on Classic FM between 6:00pm and 9:00pm during weekday evenings, and on Capital on Saturday between 10am-2pm. She took over Capital's morning show (10am-1pm) at the start of January 2008.[citation needed]
