Margaret Wright (US socialist)

Margaret Wright was a third-party candidate for President of the United States in the United States presidential election, 1976. She represented the People's Party (United States, 1970s) and her running mate was Benjamin Spock who had been their presidential candidate in the United States presidential election, 1972. She was a Los Angeles, California community activist. Their ticket was also endorsed by the Peace and Freedom Party. Bumper stickers advertised her as a "Socialist for President."

Wright was a shipyard worker during World War II, and is one of the principals of the film The Life and Times of Rosie the Riveter.
