Margaret Warner

Margaret Garrard Warner is a senior correspondent for The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer. Before joining the News Hour in 1993, she was a reporter for The Wall Street Journal, The San Diego Union-Tribune, the Concord Monitor, and Newsweek.

In addition, Warner has appeared on PBS' Washington Week In Review, CNN's The Capital Gang and is a co-host of the radio program America Abroad, which focuses on international issues.

Warner is a graduate of the Holton-Arms School of Bethesda, MD and was one of the first women to graduate from Yale University with a BA, cum laude in English in 1971. She is married to former Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission John R. Reilly.
