Margaret Sutherland

Margaret Sutherland (November 20, 1897 - 12 August 1984) was an Australian composer, pioneering women's involvement in music.

Her major works include The Four Temperaments, Haunted Hills, and the opera The Young Kabbarli. The libretto for The Young Kabbarli was written by Lady Maie Casey, wife of Lord Casey, politician and Governor-General of Australia.
