Margaret Stanley, Professor of Epithelial Biology and Fellow of Christ’s College, has been made an OBE for services to virology.
Stanley leads the Stanley Group, a research group focusing on the prevention and treatment of the human papilloma virus that causes cervical cancer.
She has served on the Council of the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) and has been a member of two of their major committees for the past ten years.
