Margaret Michaels is an American actress best known for appearing as the characters of Pam Ewing no. 3 and Jeanne O'Brien on the TV Show Dallas, as a tennis player in the Dallas imitator series Dynasty and on the television serial Santa Barbara.
[edit] Career
In the late-1980s, Warner Bros. were looking for a Victoria Principal look-a-like to step into the role of Pam Ewing on Dallas for its 11th season on the air, after Victoria Principal had left the series to pursue other projects in the season 9 finale cliff-hanger, such as her own, new, skin care range.
One whole season had gone by without viewers seeing Pam's face and naturally, Michaels seemed the perfect choice, however, this was her only TRUE appearance as Pam Ewing.
In its 12th season, the producers of the series were looking to close Bobby's dissing with April and decided to give Bobby one last fling, while being on the rebound from long-time girlfriend, (turned fiancee), his ex-cousin in-law, April Stevens Ewing, played by Sheree J. Wilson, who had a resemblance to Halloween 4 and Halloween 5 actress Ellie Cornell. Michaels was asked to come over to the show one last time as Pam Ewing look-a-like: Jeanne O'Brien, after her 5-episode stint on the show, Michaels' character was written out.
