Margarella antipoda hinemoa is a subspecies of marine gastropod mollusc in the family Trochidae, the top shells.

This top shell is endemic to New Zealand's sub-Antarctic islands.

It is found under stones and in the holdfasts of giant kelp in the genus Durvillea.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is more depressed than the typical Margarella species, with a more expanded last whorl, a wider umbilicus, and different coloration. Shell colour is buff to light brown, with two narrow red spiral bands on the dorsal surface, and another on the base. The apertural callus is white, and the interior is pale iridescent.
The maximum shell height is 7.5 mm, and width 9.5 mm.
