Marek Eben (born 18th December 1957) is Czech actor, singer, composer, writer and television host. He studied music and drama at the Prague Conservatory. His father, Petr Eben, is a composer.
Eben currently hosts the Czech version of the show Dancing with the Stars, and his long-term work in Czech Television includes the talk-show "Na plovárně" (At the swimming-pool), where he invites celebrities from all over the world for a talk. With his two brothers (Kryštof and David), he formed a band "Bratři Ebenové" (Eben Brothers) in 1984, Marek being the writer, composer and singer. He also participates in the preparation of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. He is known for standing for his Christian beliefs and for his sense of humor and polite manners.
