Marek Citko (born March 27, 1974 in Białystok) is a Polish former footballer. Was best known for his stint with Widzew Łódź during which he won back-to-back national championships, in 1996 and 1997.
He won 10 caps for Poland and, after scoring versus England in an October 9, 1996 World Cup qualifier in London, which Poland lost 2-1, many clubs began to court Citko and he was set to join then champions Blackburn Rovers, but decided to stay in Poland. Shortly thereafter, he suffered a horrible injury and was unable to capture his previous form.
He spent the rest of his career playing for lower profile sides before retiring on June 29, 2007, and is considered one of the most unfulfilled Polish talents in football.
