Marek Čech (born 26 January 1983 in Trebišov, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovakian professional footballer. He is left wing back and is a starter for Slovakia. He has played for Inter Bratislava and Sparta Prague and currently plays for FC Porto in Portugal. While at AC Sparta Prague, Marek was part of a no-nonsense defense. In the 2005/06 season he was part of Co Adriaanse's triumphant domestic league and cup winning FC Porto. He also plays for the Slovakia national football team where he is part of the UEFA Euro 2008 qualifying team.
