[edit] Plot
During India's struggle for freedom, Raja Azaad Singh (Dara Singh) rules over his people with compassion and fairness, and as result his kingdom prospers. When the British decide to take over his kingdom, Azaad fights bravely, but is outnumbered and defeated. Both he and his wife are taken prisoner and are made to work as slaves. Loyal subjects assist in getting their newborn son out of the palace. The child is then adopted by a kind woman and her husband. This boy grows up to be a Robin Hoodesque champion of the poor and tortured masses. He vows to free his father and kingdom from the imperialistic British rule.
