Marcus Whelan (born June 27, 1914) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Collingwood Football Club during the 1930's and 40's.

He played in the midfield as a centreman and on occasions would be seen in defence. Whelan won the Brownlow Medal in 1939 and was also awarded the Copeland Trophy. After fighting in WW2 he returned to the VFL in 1946 and retired at the end of the 1947 season.

Is the Grandfather of Neighbours actress Nicky Whelan.
