Marcus Patric (born Patrick Henry Gosling[1], 17 August 1979, Portsmouth, England) is a British actor, best known for the role of Ben Davies in the British soap opera Hollyoaks and its spin-offs Hollyoaks: Let Loose and Hollyoaks: In the City. Since leaving Hollyoaks, Marcus has taken part in the Weakest Link in 2007, appeared in two episodes of Soapstar Superchef in 2007. He has recently played the role of Ian Brenton in ITV Drama Echo Beach. In September 2006, it was rumoured that Patric was involved in an affair with fellow In The City star, Claire King, best known as Kim Tate in the ITV soap, Emmerdale[1].
