Marcus Hummon is a Grammy Award-winning American country music singer-songwriter. After several years of playing in various bands, he eventually found his way to Nashville, Tennessee, where he was signed to a songwriting contract, and subsequently a record deal with Epic Records, which released his debut album All in Good Time in 1995. Hummon has also released several studio albums on his own label, Velvet Armadillo.

Hummon has co-written songs for many country music artists, including "Only Love" for Wynonna, "The Cheap Seats" by Alabama, and "One of These Days" by Tim McGraw.[1][2] In 2005, he received a Grammy Award for Best Country Song, as a co-writer for Rascal Flatts' Number One single "Bless the Broken Road".[2] Hummon also produced Last of the Good Guys, the debut album for the country group One Flew South.
