Marcus Haber (born January 11, 1989) is a young Canadian football (soccer) player and one the country's top prospects.
Marcus is the oldest child of David and Carla Haber and grew up in the Dunbar neighbourhood of in Vancouver, British Columbia), where he was born. He became proficient at soccer as well as baseball and basketball. In early 2006, he helped lead his local team the Vancouver Selects to a national championship.
He has played on Canadian National U-17 team and is on Canada's U-20 World Cup roster, and represented Canada in all 3 of their games in the U-20 World Cup as a centerback. He has played the for the Vancouver Whitecaps U-17 team and is currently playing striker for the U-19 team of FC Groningen of the Dutch Eredivisie
