Marcus Fraser (born 26 July 1978) is an Australian professional golfer.
Born in Corowa, New South Wales, Fraser spent his early years working as a jackaroo on his fathers 14,000 ha cattle ranch. In his early teens, Fraser's attention turned to golf balls after a family friend introduced him to the sport. Within 12 months, he had won his first junior event, the Deniliquin Kids Classic. He completed a distinguished amateur career in 2002, finishing as the top individual in the Eisenhower Trophy world teams event.
He turned professional in 2002 and completed his first seasons playing on Europe's second tier Challenge Tour. In 2003, he won three tournaments in one month, the Danish Open, the Finnish Challenge and the Russian Open. Soon after he gained his card on the European Tour. His best finish on the European Tour Order of Merit through 2006 is 51st in 2004.
In his time away from the golf course, Fraser enjoys fishing, stamp collecting and sheep shearing. His ambition is to earn enough money from golf to buy his parents their dream home on the Gold Coast in the Australian state of Queensland.
