Marconi CalindasAbout Marconi Calindas, used to be a reporter for Saipan Tribune, a daily newspaper in the [Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands]Know More About Saipan Here for three years. Now he chose to be a correspondent to focus more on his new chosen career. He is also a singer, composer and painter. He has been writing songs since his college years at the University of the Philippines where he wrote songs such as "Free" that won a Battle of Bands Best in Composition in the 90's. He has written songs also on Saipan. He wrote song for the Saipan Singing Superstar 2006 "One Little Big Dream" and wrote a song for the first [Saipan Grand Fiesta Pop Music Festival]Saipan Tribune "Sweet December" where he won second place with his interpreter and friend Macoi Aguda. He also has written a song for the 35th Anniversary of the Tan Holdings Corporation called "We Believe."

Marconi Calindas also wrote for VMagazine, a celebrity and business magazine in the Philippines. He also wrote winning essays for ABS-CBN PinoyCentral Centennial Essay Writing Contest in 1998. He also has worked as marketing communications consultant for IT companies such as KPMG-MCC Information Technology.
