Marco Tezza (born Vicenza 1964) is an Italian pianist.

He studied with Carlo Mazzoli, Jörg Demus, György Sándor, Bruno Canino and at the Ecole Normale "A. Cortot" of Paris with Aquiles Delle Vigne.

Besides, he wins several international competitions of piano: Citta di Treviso (First Prize), La Spezia (first prize), RAI (first prize), Moncalieri (European Prize for Chamber Music), Busoni, Pretoria and Viotti (graduation).

To these important prizes he adds a rich concert activity in prestigious concert-halls in Europe, America, Africa and the Middle-East: La Fenice Theatre of Venice, Tonhalle of Zurich, Salle Cortot of Paris, Musichalle of Hamburg, Tawes Theatre of Washington and New York just to mention the most important ones.

He is personally invited to the "Universitè de S. Esprit" in Beirut (where he is given a chair as "Professeur invitè" ), to the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne and to the University of South Florida where he obtained Master Classes and a series of concerts which are telecast.

He founded the Stravinskij Chamber Orchestra which he conducted for several years (from 1994). In the course of his career Marco Tezza has collaborated both as a soloist and as conductor with several chamber and symphonic orchestras such as I Fiati della Scala, the Accademia Bizantina, the Toscanini Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, the Sofia Chamber Orchestra, the Jeunesse Musicale Symphony Orchestra, the Praga Symphony Orchestra, the Sofia FM Young Radio Orchestra and several more ones. He performs as solo, in duo with the contrabassist Daniele Roccato, and in the cross-over ensemble TrisTango, inspired from Astor Piazzolla's Tangos.

Tezza teaches piano at the Conservatory A. Pedrollo in Vicenza.
