The March Hog Theater Company (established in 2004) was co-founded by Russ Marchand and Darcy Hogan. The two met in 1998 while performing with the Tony Award-Winning Utah Shakespearean Festival.
In 2002 they met up again - in Orange County, California - for a production of "Hamlet" at the Hunger Artists Theatre Company. They have since teamed up on many projects - as producers, actors, and directors. Both have won critical acclaim for their directorial concepts and their unique interpretations of classic theater.
The company is known for its originality, unique style, and sense of humor. This is evident even in the company's slogan, which is "Because even your favorite show could use a good kick in the pants."
