Marcelo Fabian Sosa (born 6 February 1978 in Montevideo, Uruguay) is Uruguayan football player who currently plays for UAG Tecos. His usual position is Defensive Midfielder. Nickname is "Pato", Spanish for duck.

Sosa started his career at Danubio F.C.. In January 2004 he joined FC Spartak Moscow, signing a four year deal. But only 6 months later he joined Atlético Madrid on a free transfer, signing a 3 year deal. Again, he failed to earn a regular place and was loaned to Osasuna and River Plate. In January 2007, he was allowed to join Nacional de Montevideo on a free transfer, despite having a 6 month contract left with Madrid.
He played two games in UEFA Cup for Osasuna.
On January 7, 2008, Tecos UAG officially presents him to the Guadalajara-area media in a press conference.

He capped for Uruguay in Copa America 2004.
