Marcelo Alberto Barovero (born February 12, 1984 in Córdoba) is an Argentine football goalkeeper currently playing for Club Atlético Huracán.
Barovero started his playing career in 2003 with Atlético de Rafaela in the Argentine 2nd division. In his first season the club won the championship and promotion to the Argentine Primera. Barovero was used as the clubs reserve goalkeeper in the Primera and the club were relegated at the end of the 2003-04 season. Barovero stayed with the club and established himself as the clubs first choice goalkeeper, making over 100 appearances for the club before his move to Huracán in 2007.
