Marcello d'Orey

Marcello d'Orey (born 7 March 1976) is a Portuguese rugby union player. His position in the field is as a lock.
He won the title of National Champion, for Grupo Desportivo Direito, in 2005/2006, were he played until the next season. He moved to CDUP, for the season of 2007/2008.
D'Orey is one of the most capped portuguese rugby footballers in activity, with currently 57 matches and 4 tries scored, since his debut, at 14 February 2004, with Georgia. Selected for the squad that compete at the 2007 Rugby World Cup finals, he got injured in his only presence, at the heavy (13-108) loss to New Zealand, in the first time ever the two teams played, and missed the rest of the tournament.
