Marcel Cellier

Marcel Cellier (b. 29.10.1925) is a Swiss organist, ethnomusicologist and music producer.
Founder of the Disques Cellier recording label.
Extensively researched Romanian folk music in the 1960s, which led to his discovery of Gheorghe Zamfir.
Presented with "Grand prix audiovisuel de l'Europe" from the "Academie du disque français" in Paris 1984.
Grammy winner 1990 as producer of "Le Mystere des Voix Bulgares, Vol. II" performed by the Bulgarian State Television Female Vocal Choir.
From 1960 and the next 25 years he hosted a weekly radio show Westschweizer Radio, which he called "From the Black Sea to the Baltic".
