Marc Anthony Scibilia (born 20 June 1986), is a singer songwriter. Marc was born and raised in Buffalo, New York, and attended Grand Island High School. Scibilia writes all his own lyrics and he often writes using political, social and religious themes. A prolific song writer, his first album of live piano songs was released at age 12. Scibilia has collaborated with Michael Tait of multi-platinum grammy winning rap group, DC Talk, and has toured internationally playing piano and keyboards for Sonic Flood. Scibilia has also written musical scores for television commercials.

Scibilia has been influenced by the message of Texas Congressman and Presidential Candidate, Ron Paul. This lead to the release of Scibilia's first political song, Hope Anthem. Given away free of charge, Hope Anthem has become recognized as the Ron Paul theme song. Scibilia has officially endorsed Ron Paul's Candidacy and has appeared in public with Ron Paul and played concerts for grassroots supporters of his Presidential campaign.

[edit] Other endeavors

Marc Scibilia co-created the Open Source Track initiative. OST is a open source-style licensing model for musicians, where the entire composition of the artist's work of a particular song is made available as public domain for all non-commercial use to encourage budding musicians and inspire freedom within the music industry. Scibilia has to date rejected advances from major music labels in order to further promote freedom of music within an industry that is often very restrictive.
