Marc Maiffret was the co-founder of eEye Digital Security along with Firas Bushnaq. He previously served as Chief Technology Officer, where he was responsible for both high-level product strategy, as well as setting the eEye research agenda. Marc's efforts have been focused upon eEye’s product development and vulnerability research since the company's inception in 1998.[1] Marc left eEye in September 2007 to pursue a new venture in mobile software.[2]
In May of 2008, Mr. Maiffret founded Invenio Security, which is focused on security consulting. [3]
Mr. Maiffret has twice testified before Congress where he spoke in regard to information policies and security threats posed to both public and private infrastructures.[4]
Marc was a guest speaker on episode 91 of Security Now, with Leo Laporte and Steve Gibson.[5]
