Marc Lammers

Marc Lammers (born March 15, 1969 in Oss, Noord-Brabant) is the head coach of the Dutch women's national field hockey team, that won the silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece and gold at the 2006 World Cup. As a player he earned five caps for the Men's Squad. Lammers played for sixteen years in Holland's first division named Hoofdklasse, with HC Den Bosch, HC Tilburg and Oranje Zwart.
After having coached several youth teams he became the assistant of Women's Head Coach Tom van 't Hek in the late 1990s. A couple of months before the 1998 Women's Field Hockey World Cup in Utrecht Lammers was named Head Coach of the Spanish National Women's Team, with whom he finished in fourth place at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. Two months later he became the Head Coach of the Holland Team. In 2004 Lammers was named FIH Master Coach.
