From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Marc Deurloo (born 1978) is an Amsterdam (Jordaan) Dutch fashion, music and glamour photographer.
Deurloo worked for several - high and low - fashion and style magazines like Blend magazine, Glamcult, FHM, Vice magazine and Glamour. He reported the guerilla fashion shows in Paris for the Fashion Institute Arnhem [1] and did the official finalist portraits for the Mercedes-Benz Dutch Fashion Awards [2] in 2007. He made portraits of people from all layers of Dutch society. Amongst others DJ Joost van Bellen, writer Jules Deelder, rock star Chris Dekker, dumb blondes 2 Babes, indieband Relax, indieband Boilersuit, artist Bas Kosters [3], fashiondesigner Antoine Peters [4], magician Hans Klok and many more. Without concessions he manages to capture a wonderful image of the average culture within the Netherlands. Deurloo is also the main photographer of the leading Dutch live popmagazine LiveXS.
Since 2008 Deurloo writes "The fabulous world of Marc Deurloo", a column for the popular monthly Dutch style paper Glamcult.[5]
