Marc Byrd is a singer-songwriter, producer, pianist and guitarist who fronted the Christian alternative rock band Common Children, as well as GlassByrd (originally named "Adore") with his wife Christine Glass. They met while both signed to the now defunct Tattoo record label and married in 2000. Byrd is currently a member of both The Choir and Hammock.

Byrd co-wrote the popular worship song "God of Wonders" featured on the collaborative album which he co-produced, City on a Hill: Songs of Worship and Praise. In addition, Marc has also co-produced other City On A Hill projects (City on a Hill: Sing Alleluia and City on a Hill: The Gathering), as well as Our God of Wonders (a project by the producers of the City on a Hill series) and two albums by SONICFLOOd. He has worked with numerous artists, contributing guitar, vocals, and songwriting.

Byrd writes and records (in collaboration with Common Children bandmate Andrew Thompson) for Hammock, which released Raising Your Voice...Trying To Stop An Echo through Darla Records in the fall of 2006.
